NJREC supplies CRGO transformer cores for single-phase and three-phase power and distribution transformers. Made from cold-rolled grain-oriented electrical steel, these cores are specified to meet the transformer's magnetic design, no-load loss and excitation requirements. Steel grade and thickness, limb and window dimensions, stack thickness and joint arrangement are reviewed against the winding layout and assembly process. Depending on the drawing, the required supply condition may be cut laminations, pre-stacked packets or an assembled core. Material properties and the accuracy of cutting, stacking and joint assembly influence finished-core performance. NJREC reviews customer drawings and coordinates the material specification, core construction and delivery condition with the supplier for each project.
